K&K 95 Kft. subjects each manufactured brake hose to a 100% pressure test, ensuring leak-free operation and system integrity. In our own laboratory, we perform regular tests according to the international standards SAE J1401, FMVSS 106, ISO 3996
Quality assurance and testing protocols
The aim of these tests is to ensure long-term mechanical reliability, corrosion and heat resistance, and compliance with automotive industry requirements.
- Static pressure test (burst test)
- Impulse test (147°C -on pressure cycling between 0-110 bar)
- Cold bending test (at -40°C)
- Fluid resistance tests (DOT 3/4 brake fluid compatibility)
- Cracking after water absorption test.
- Ozone resistance test (dynamic/static)
- Whip test (accelerated life test) destructive test
- Thermal aging test
Geometry dimension check
We control the dimensional accuracy of manufactured brake pipes and fittings with calibrated calipers, angle checking templates and plug gauges.
- Total pipe length (with tolerance)
- Fitting distance and orientation,
- Thread parameters
- External/internal diameters.
Labeling and traceability control
This data guarantees full item-level traceability and the traceability required for complaint management. Our quality management system is certified to: ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
